With the large number of 2.0-liter engines that are being built and put on the market you have to admire the way automakers are using these small engines to get the most power and create the right driving force for their cars. This engine size is showing up everywhere, usually with a turbocharger attached to it, but that’s the secret to the power question isn’t it? The old say was “there’s no replacement for displacement” but it seems today’s automotive market thinks otherwise and the number of lightweight but quick cars using this engine is absolutely amazing. Here are some favorites for you to enjoy.

Porsche 718 Cayman and Boxster – Yes, the 718 series of these two cars is a small 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that offers the power you want and the weight savings you’re sure to fully appreciate. The 718 Series cars offer 300 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque in a boxer shape that moves these cars to sixty mph in only five seconds.
