The Chiron requires more than 60,000 liters of air per minute, which means it breathes more air than any other car in the world.
The Chiron took over where the Veyron left off
The Bugatti Veyron held the top speed record for production cars for a decade. This meant the Chiron had a lot to live up to when it was time to push this car toward the same figures. The Bugatti Chiron achieved a top speed of 304.773 mph in 2019 using a Super Sport 300+ pre-production model. Somehow, this speed wasn’t officially recognized, but it certainly made headlines and allowed the world to know this incredible Bugatti was the first production car to travel at more than 300 mph.
Only 500 are being made
Like its predecessor, the Chiron is only being made in 500 versions, which limits the production of this top-end supercar. This Bugatti is made by hand, which means it takes at least two months to build one car. All versions of the Chiron have been sold out, which isn’t a surprise. Many of these top-end, multi-million dollar cars are put on reserve years in advance, which is certainly the case for this Bugatti. This is certainly a car that’s worth the wait.
