What We Know About the 2025 Buick Enclave

Now entering its third generation, the Buick Enclave is undergoing profound changes for 2025. We’ll outline the most crucial of them.

Buick’s Flagship SUV Gets Some Major Changes

Though GM has yet to release all the specifications for its 2025 Buick Enclave, the automaker has keyed industry experts into some of the most exciting changes. They’re centered around tech, style, and the SUV’s new turbocharged engine.

GM plans to manufacture the new Buick Enclave at its Lansing Delta Township facility in Michigan. The first models will be available in the summer of 2024, but the automaker has already released plenty of information about what to expect.

The 2025 Buick Enclave Goes Turbo

The Buick Enclave will get a new turbocharged 2.5L 4-cyl engine for 2025. All three of its trim levels will be powered by this 328 hp powerhouse paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

GM has yet to release official information about the fuel economy of the third-gen Buick Enclave. However, it’s safe to assume that the new engine will be more efficient. Drivers will still be able to choose from a FWD or AWD Enclave.

The third generation of this three-row SUV will also be able to pull its weight. With the optional Trailering package, the 2025 Enclave will have a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs.

A Stylish New Look Inside and Out

Historically, this SUV has featured curvaceous lines. The 2025 Buick Enclave has a boxier style that draws attention without being showy. Buick remains true to its roots by straddling the line between mainstream and luxury vehicles with this three-row SUV.

Buyers will be able to choose from three trim levels: the entry-level Enclave Preferred, the Sport Touring, and the line-topping Avenir. The top trim will include interior ambient lighting, automatic wipers, ventilated front seats, and heating for first and second-row seats.

Every 2025 Buick Enclave will feature a 30-inch curved display extending from behind the steering wheel to the center of the SUV’s dash. Buyers will also get a standard 12-speaker Bose stereo system in the Preferred or Sport Touring models and a 16-speaker system in the Avenir.

GM Adds High-Tech Features to the Buick Enclave

Today’s drivers expect high-tech driver assistance and infotainment features. They won’t be disappointed by the 2025 Buick Enclave.

All trim levels will get wireless smartphone integration and proprietary GM software modeled after the latest Google-based system. The infotainment center will have a wealth of apps to customize functions, and all models will come with wireless smartphone charging and an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot.

The driver assistance tech found in this thoroughly modern SUV will be equally impressive. The 2025 Enclave will come standard with all the basics, including automated e-braking, lane-keep assist, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and more.

For an even better experience behind the wheel, drivers can upgrade to GM’s impressive Super Cruise adaptive cruise control system for hands-free driving. The automaker plans to make it optional at all trim levels.
