GMC Terrain Denali Black Diamond Edition

GM is looking to increase the sales of the GMC Terrain Denali with the Black Diamond Edition package. To that end, the company is asking GMC dealerships to promote sales of the Black Diamond Edition package to 40% of all Denali sales. The Black Diamond Edition is an additional package of options to add on top of all the premium options that already come with the Denali models.

Black Diamond Edition Features

The Black Diamond Edition package was first available with the 2022 GMC Terrain Denali. This upscale package offers a variety of premium features for the exterior and interior and it costs $3,240. It includes a SkyScape power sunroof, 19-inch aluminum painted wheels in an After Midnight color finish, and the Denali Premium package content. The Denali Premium package can be bought separately for $1,445, but it’s included in the Black Diamond Edition. This package includes the following:

– Ventilated driver and front passenger seat
– Heated rear seats
– HD Surround Vision
– Adaptive Cruise Control
– Automatic Parking Assist

You can only get the Black Diamond Edition package on the GMC Terrain Denali trim level starting with the 2022 model year. It also requires the Ebony Twilight Metallic exterior paint, which is priced at $495.

Unlocking the Black Diamond Edition

The GMC Terrain Denali is already full of luxury features on the inside and eye-catching features on the outside. Inside, you’ll find real aluminum accents, leather-appointed front seats, a heated steering wheel, and an eight-inch multi-color driver information center. Outside, the unique Denali grille takes center stage, but it also includes chrome details on the body and power-adjustable mirrors with LED turn-signal indicators. When you build your GMC Terrain Denali on GMC.com, the first thing you’ll need to do is choose Ebony Twilight Metallic as your color. When you move to Packages, the Black Diamond Edition is automatically on the top. Selecting this package will switch your wheels to the 19-inch wheels with After Midnight finish, and it will also automatically select the Denali Premium Package, which is included in the price.

2023 GMC Terrain Changes

There won’t be too many changes for 2023 GMC Terrain. The most significant of the changes is the new turbocharged LSD gas engine, which replaces the 1.5-liter LYX gas engine. This new engine is rated at 175 horsepower and is capable of making 203 pound-feet of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission is the standard pairing to send power to the wheels. Pricing for the 2023 GMC Terrain will increase by $1,500 across the lineup. The base model starts at $31,295, and the top Denali trim starts at $39,995 before the purchase of any packages like the Black Diamond Edition. Three new colors are also available on the 2023 GMC Terrain. These include Sterling Metallic, Deep Bronze Metallic, and Volcanic Red Tintcoat. Of the three, only two are available across the lineup. Deep Bronze Metallic is only available on the Denali trim.

Right now, only the 2022 GMC Terrain Denali is available to build on GMC.com with the Black Diamond Edition package.
