Every version of the CX-5 is powered by a 2.5-liter engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. All models also have the benefit of standard AWD to give you the added control you want during your time on the road. The base engine is a naturally-aspirated model that makes 187 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque. This model returns 24 city/30 hwy to give you an efficient drive where you want to go.
The turbocharged version increased the power to 227 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. You’ll still have good fuel mileage with this model, which gives you 22 city/27 hwy mpg.
