Expensive Cars Can be Bought

For a vast majority of the world driving a Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin or Ferrari seems to be out of reach.  This may be a dream for some of us when we win the lottery or come up with the next world changing invention that will make us instantly and insanely rich.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with dreaming about what car you want to drive someday, but for those of us who are tired of the wait, there is a solution.  Many of the most expensive cars from before are now sold for less than $20,000, which makes them affordable to buy them used.  Conditions could vary, but let’s look at what you might find.

Bentley Arnage – This massive beauty was once a car that would sell for over $200,000 but after a huge bout of depreciation you can buy this car for less than most family sedans on the market today.

Bentley Turbo R – With excellent handling to go with the massive size this is a car that will be fun to drive on a budget giving you the fun of a car that was the darling of the 1980s and one that is already a classic.

BMW 850i –This beast boasts a strong V12 for you to experience that golden age of monster engines in a car that comes from the company that makes the most athletic models on the road today.  This car has the good looks that don’t go out of style, making it an easy choice.

BMW 760Li – Not quite as old as the 850i this car gives you a strong V12 engine in a form that is certainly upgraded over the previous models.  This car can be had for under $11,000 today, but you will want a mechanic to check it over before making your purchase.

Cadillac CTS-VEven though this is a car that has only been around a short time the first generation of this model are being sold on some markets for under $20,000 to make them affordable and powerful.  Of course the power is less than today at 400 horsepower, which is nothing to sneeze at.

Cadillac STS-V – This is more of the luxury cruiser from this time of Cadillac and still gives you the looks and feel you want from a car that gives you excellent power and  great price to let you live in the lap of luxury at a bargain basement price.

Jaguar S-Type R – The design of this car is truly timeless and turns heads on any road.  With 400 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque you will know you have a gem when you roll up in this powerful and comfortable machine.

Jaguar XJ Super V8 – Supercharged, lengthened and powerful this car that once cost nearly $100,000 now sells for $15,000 and offers the classic Jaguar looks that are easy to love.  With 400 horsepower from the strong V8 you won’t have any reason to shy away from this bold and beautiful car.

Jaguar XKR – With a more modern look than the previous two Jags the XKR is one that offers a long and lean look of a coupe that was after some serious speed and performance.  This is a car you want to drive, even if you have to perform a bit of a fix up to a super luxury car that only cost you $10,000.

Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged – As one of the classic looks that was modernized this outdoor loving beauty gives you the top of the food chain for trail riding and more prestige and power than you can handle at a price that won’t even come close to breaking your bank.

Maserati Quattroporte – This exotic beauty with the Ferrari sourced engine is well-worth the price you will pay, especially considering you can find them for under $20,000 and still have an awesome car to drive anywhere you want.

Maserati Spyder – About the only thing better than an exotic coupe for a great price is one that you can put the top down on.  Using a strong 4.2-liter V8 from Ferrari this car is one you will love to drive and show off to your friends and family.

Mercedes- Benz CLS63 AMG – The AMG models have dropped in price as they got older as most performance cars do, but the CLS63 models give you something to write home about with the four door coupe design and awesome handling that makes this a car you will love at the under $20,000 price.

Mercedes- Benz S63 AMG – This top end super sedan is one that lets you have it all and at the price we are talking about that is a steal.  With the handling, the class, the power and the features aboard you won’t have a single complaint about this car once it receives the thumbs up from your mechanic.

Mercedes- Benz SL55 AMG – If you are going to spend the money on a luxury player you might as well look to a roadster to have a great time on any road and even put the top down on occasion.  This one is an awesome choice to fill those desires.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo – As one of the first models you can stay under the price point and have 400 horsepower in a great SUV that will treat your right.  This makes for a great marriage of power and passion for you to enjoy.

Porsche Cayman S – It’s not the 911, but it’s a mid-engine sports car that offers the best handling, RWD and all the Porsche features you love at a much better price.  The Cayman and Boxster make it possible to have a great sports car on a budget for you to enjoy the ride.

Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit – Can you imagine pulling up in a car that has this name on it, there is no one who wouldn’t wonder your story.  The fact is these cars depreciate significantly and can be bought now for a fraction of what they once were.

Rolls-Royce Silver Spur – As a larger sedan than the Spirit this big beauty is in the same boat and will let you have an awesome ride with more legroom to ensure you can offer your passengers the luxury they expect when they step inside, just don’t tell them how little you had to pay for it.

Volkswagen Phaeton W12 – Low sales number kept the overall value of this car relatively low and with it offering you the W12 from Volkswagen and a large sedan style you can’t go wrong with this beauty that now will come to you at a very reasonable price.
